Introduction to Mindfulness for Children (Individual and Group)
8-week closed program focusing on developing mindfulness through play. One hour sessions. Ages 8 to 12. Small groups (max. 4) or individual.
Topics include: understanding our five senses; identifying emotions; body movement and mind-body connection; relaxation and deep breathing exercises; basic yoga practice; creative ways to express emotions.
Please note: these sessions are not to be intended to be counselling sessions and follow a structured curriculum.

Introduction to Mindfulness for Teens (Individual and Group)
8-week closed group focusing on developing mindfulness practices. One hour sessions. Ages 13 to 17. Regular introduction to guided meditations and mindfulness exercises. Small groups (max. 4) or individual.
Topics include: understanding the mind-body connection and how our thoughts, feelings and behaviours are linked; deep breathing and relaxation exercises; mindfulness through expressive arts; body movement and basic yoga practice; introduction to meditation.

Introduction to Mindfulness for Adults (Group or Individual)
8-week closed program focusing on developing basic mindfulness practices for daily life. Ages 18+. Includes regular meditation practices. Small groups (max. 5) or individual. 1.5 hour sessions per week.
Topics include: introduction to neuroscience (study of the relationship between mindfulness and physical/emotional well-being); body scans and other meditations; body movement and basic yoga practice; stepping out of “auto pilot”; and incorporating mindfulness into daily life.
